dance classes, all the music everywhere, especially those guys singing in the stairwell, skipping school occasionally to have coffee on Shattuck
Vancouver, BC Canada
I married Bruce Clausen (BHS '64) in June 1968 after we both graduated from UC Berkeley, and we moved to Vancouver 3 months later. We have lived in Vancouver mostly, as well as a year in SF, a year in France and 2 years in Ottawa. I spent my career in contemporary dance, working over the years as a teacher, manager, grants officer and producer, and looking back I know it was my two years of dance at BHS that set me on this path. We have 2 kids: our son is an attorney living in Berkeley and working in SF, and our daughter just finished her MA and is a French immersion teacher here in BC. We have 3 beautiful grandkids. Now retired, we travel around BC and to the Bay Area fairly frequently and to more exotic locales occasionally.
