I thought I was having a great experience while at B.H.S. but it really wasn't until a few years later that I fully realized what a great place it was to receive a quality education both academically and in "life experience". The "melting pot effect" (only public high school in the city)was a huge advantage.
Pleasant Hill, CA.
In the past 50 years I have travelled to Europe, Tahiti, the Carribean and many states in the U.S. Lived in the Midwest for 2 years...really made me appreciate NorCal! I have 3 great daughters and a load of grandchildren (ah, blended family bliss). Prior to retirement I spent 38 years in medical device sales/marketing and management. Last October I gathered the courage to marry again...oddly enough to a lady I met while a freshman in college!
I enjoy filling my leisure time with golf, tennis, crossword puzzles and, best of all, family.

The "Slope" area was a great place to be after school. My social club, The
Bithynains, was great fun. All of my best friends were in the club and we had the very best of times. Mr. Elhers and Mrs. White were my favorite teachers. I will always remember Ms. Thompson's class where I learned to type.....great life tool!!!I loved the basketball games and the annual TOC! The Pep Club was great also when we all wore the school colors of red and gold....Go Jackets!!!! My years at Berkeley High were some of the very best years of my life. I loved high school,

San Rafael
Worked as a paralegal for many years at one of those large San Francisco firms. Now work one day per week in Marin County - just enough!
I play in a recorder group, am an advanced beginning cello student, enjoy gardening (tomatoes grow well in San Rafael) and have tried many fiber arts.
