Many good friends and good teachers. The great diversity of BHS was wonderful - from sports to chess and science fairs, the yellow jackets were the best!
Monterey, California (arrived in August from many years in Brazil).
I left BHS at the end of 10th grade to go to Davis. I returned in 12th grade for Advanced Placement at BHS/Cal, but somehow I flamed out in rebellion (it was in the air then). I even dropped out for awhile. Fortunately they let me graduate a semester early with the Spring 1964 Class. Then I was off for 10 years. Went to Cambridge University (England) and travelled & lived in Africa, Asia and Australia. In 1974 I returned to the US. Stayed mostly in Washington DC. Then in 1981 I moved to Brazil (where I've lived all over the place). Returned to the US in August with my Brazilian wife and 12 year old daughter. I work with energy and the environment and am involved both in Latin America and Asia. I'm very keen on making contact with old classmates.
I am a voracious reader and love to cook. I also love to travel and to have a good chat about ideas and experiences in life's great adventure.

I thought I was having a great experience while at B.H.S. but it really wasn't until a few years later that I fully realized what a great place it was to receive a quality education both academically and in "life experience". The "melting pot effect" (only public high school in the city)was a huge advantage.
Pleasant Hill, CA.
In the past 50 years I have travelled to Europe, Tahiti, the Carribean and many states in the U.S. Lived in the Midwest for 2 years...really made me appreciate NorCal! I have 3 great daughters and a load of grandchildren (ah, blended family bliss). Prior to retirement I spent 38 years in medical device sales/marketing and management. Last October I gathered the courage to marry again...oddly enough to a lady I met while a freshman in college!
I enjoy filling my leisure time with golf, tennis, crossword puzzles and, best of all, family.
