Spring '64 Those really cool oh-so-flattering green tank suits we wore for swimming. The guys who used to sing R&B songs at the base of the stairwell in the G Building. They sounded so great! El Gran Eschrumpio dropping his briefcase on his desk to get our attention in Spanish class. The noise was impressive. Walking through the narrow, crowded corridor from the G Building to the C Building between classes. There were so many faces to see. Berkeley, CA I went to school, graduated, then went to more school, then married, then had a daughter, then divorced, then raised my daughter and went to more school, then became a law librarian. Later I remarried and now I am enjoying my two grandchildren. Textile crafts like sewing, knitting and crocheting, beadwork and jewelry making.I love our local regional history and architectural heritage. I used to run and tap dance until my knees gave out. Now I walk and swim and dream about tap dancing. 42 Bret Harte Rd. Berkeley, CA 94708 510-841-4598

Spring '64 dance classes, all the music everywhere, especially those guys singing in the stairwell, skipping school occasionally to have coffee on Shattuck Vancouver, BC Canada I married Bruce Clausen (BHS '64) in June 1968 after we both graduated from UC Berkeley, and we moved to Vancouver 3 months later. We have lived in Vancouver mostly, as well as a year in SF, a year in France and 2 years in Ottawa. I spent my career in contemporary dance, working over the years as a teacher, manager, grants officer and producer, and looking back I know it was my two years of dance at BHS that set me on this path. We have 2 kids: our son is an attorney living in Berkeley and working in SF, and our daughter just finished her MA and is a French immersion teacher here in BC. We have 3 beautiful grandkids. Now retired, we travel around BC and to the Bay Area fairly frequently and to more exotic locales occasionally. lots babaclausen@gmail.com
